My story

Before every match, the same ritual: boots, socks, shin pads, tape.

I’ve played Sunday league and five-a-side for years, and for most of that time I bought gear badly. Boots that looked great and crushed my toes. Shin pads that slid down after ten minutes. A “match ball” that went flat in a month.
