About FootballPro

Who picks the gear, and how every guide is put together.

Player in a green number 9 kit kneeling on the pitch

Hi, I’m the one behind FootballPro

A player first, a reviewer second.

I play football most weeks: eleven-a-side on grass when the season is on, five-a-side on astro the rest of the year. Over time I’ve spent far too much money on gear that didn’t last or didn’t fit, and I got tired of reviews that read like copy-pasted product pages.

So I started FootballPro as a simple promise: only recommend gear I would tell a teammate to buy. Every guide covers one part of your kit, from firm-ground boots and turf shoes to goalkeeper gloves, shin guards, socks, balls, bags, training tools, and backyard goals.

Each pick links to a live Amazon US listing that I’ve opened and checked. I never type in a price. The product card pulls Amazon’s current price, so what you see is what you pay. If a listing disappears, I replace it.

How every guide is picked

01

Live listings only

Every product is opened on Amazon US before it goes in a guide, and dead listings are swapped out.

07

Seven picks, max

Each guide stops at seven so you can actually choose, not scroll forever.

10

Fit before hype

I care about who a product suits: foot shape, position, surface, and budget.
